Our experience in England

"That week I think that was one of my favourite weeks of my life. I want to start from the beginning of the week . When at first the family came late to take me to their house. When I entered  the house it was like paradise -  it was so big and so beautiful and all the family gave me a hug very strong. They say that I had to sleep in a very big and comfortable bedroom.

The first day we went to  the bowling alley with all the classmates of Maristas and St Mary of the Angels. Then I went to the house and I had dinner with the family and the dog and the cat Rose and Sam .

Next day we did a project of art and then we went with a minibus to Seacombe,  then we went to the River Mersey then we went to visit the museum of Liverpool and to the centre.  Then we went to the Cavern Club of the Beatles and then I returned to the house to sleep.

Next day we also did the project of art and then we went another time to an excursion to the ice cream  factory. At the night we went to the school because we had a disco and we saw a lot ofl very young girls with iphones and very short pants and t-shirts .Next day we did also a project of art and then we ate in the school and we went to Chester to feed the squirrels and we went shopping and to buy some  presents for the family. Friday was the last day in the school so they did a mass of farewell. We also visited Chester Zoo .The Saturday was family day. We went to the house of his grandmother and then we went to a center to buy present and some things that I have in a remember box with all the things of the trip. The last day everyone wanted to go to home except me because I was very good in England .

I loved that trip."

"The school was little, but it was very friendly. The school was decorated too cute, and I think it is very cool. We went to a lot of places, but one of my favourites was Chester Zoo. It was a big zoo with lots of animals and with a lot of space. My host family was helpful, and I didn’t have any problem. I had good times with the family. Their  life was so different to mine, because for example they eat at different times, but it was nice."

Presentation

This  blog, made by st udents from Santa María la Real - Hermanos Maristas (Sarriguren, Spain) and students from St. Mary of the Angels (Ellesmere Port, UK), shows the final product and evidence from a 3 years long European project called "Digital Skills for All!". Thanks to a partership between both schoo ls and thanks  to th e E uropean Program Erasmus+ that provided with  a grant for both, students from  these two schools participated in an exchange program; learning, not only the culture of a different country, but also some tips to be safe on the Internet. The project, which duration was three years from october 2017 to september 2020, was possible because it was funded by the European Union. The reader can surf through this blog to know what students shared and learnt during their experience.
